The other day I was watching an interview of Cheryl Strayed, author of the famous memoir Wild. She spends a lot of time teaching writing classes and the questions she asks her students to answer are:
What is the question at the core of your work? What question are you trying to answer for others?
After hearing these words the questions really stuck with me. I was thinking about these questions a lot. I believe these questions are important because they can pertain to real life in general. These questions help you to find your purpose of why you are here and what you are trying to accomplish.
People have many possible answers regarding the purpose of humans. People say you are here on Earth:
- To Serve Others
- To Choose between Right and Wrong and Make Good Choices
- To Populate the Earth
- Because You were Put here on Earth
- Because of Evolution
What do you think? Why are you here? What question are you trying to answer?
